– and Qype, Europe’s leading consumer reviews site, has revealed the consumer’s pick of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK.

Eight London restaurants ranked in the top ten, according to real reviews posted on Qype.co.uk over the last six months.
Yauatcha Restaurant in Soho came out on top, with Dragon Castle in Elephant and Castle, Hakkasan at Covent Garden and Magic Wok Restaurant in Bayswater all making it into the top five.

The only restaurants outside the capital to feature in the top ten were Peterborough’s Imperial Bento and Sheffield’s Hui Wei.
Yauatcha Restaurant was praised for its fantastic ambiance and exceptional food. A modern interpretation of the old Chinese teahouse, the restaurant received a Michelin star within a year of its opening in 2004.
