Three of us went for Sunday lunch. Very generous portions and delicious food. Good veggie choice. My friends enjoyed the roast lamb and steak and ale pie. My smoked haddock and prawn tagliatelle was tasty. We'll return. |

Just popped in for coffee today. This is such a great place and worth climbing up that rotten hill! I had probably the best cappuccino of my life, my friend enjoyed his latte equally and a glass of tap water was served free of charge. Thank you Java! |

This is a proper cafe! Friendly staff and extremely interesting surroundings. The coffee is good and special diets are catered for (gluten free, low fat etc) is good. You may have to fight for a table inside but there are more on the station platform. |

Just to add to previous post, yet again fab service, delicious food and very wheelchair friendly. The disabled loo was one of the best we found during last week's visit. |

Yum yum yum. Tasty, freshly prepared and good portions. The queues here can be quite long (down the road) but it's worth the wait. |

Had afternoon tea here (not the £25 for 2 menu). Super home made cake and refreshing hot tea. Staff were very accommodating with my elderly wheelchair bound guest. Will return. |

We needed a quick lunch on the way to the ferry. It was a bit touch and go because the place was stretched owing to a wedding. Take on more staff!! The food was fine but the wasps weren't. This is an ongoing prob at the HG. |
