Mary and Her Cousins Invade Drake & Morgan
Stylish bar and restaurant group launches a Bloody Mary menu
Recently named ‘the most complicated cocktail invented’ by US scientist Dr Neil Da Costa, the perfect Bloody Mary is a hotly debated topic.
Innovative bar and restaurant group, Drake & Morgan has risen to the challenge and created a menu dedicated to this famous hair of the dog. Choose from a string of six variations to suit every taste, whether you prefer the classic or fancy trying one of Mary’s wayward cousins!
Can’t make up your mind? Then choose the
Bloody Decisive – the classic concoction is made with a few special secret ingredients to give it a kick – whilst the
Bloody Ceasar is made with clamato juice (clam and tomato juice) and served with a king prawn and celery salt rim. It’s no surprise that it’s Canada’s national drink!

The
Celery Mary is a refreshing, bloodless variation made with Ketel One vodka, tomato water and celery juice muddled with strawberry balsamic vinegar and seasoned with salt, pepper and Tabasco. Gin lovers can enjoy the
Crystal Mary Martini - a blend of Millers Gin, crystal tomato juice and Tabasco served with a celery salt rim and dried tomato chip.
Replenish the vitamins you lost from the night before with the salad inspired
Caprese Mary – Ketel One vodka, tomato water and celery juice mixed with basil, strawberry balsamic vinegar and chopped cherry tomatoes served with a celery salt and black pepper rim. Or get pickled with the
Kimchi Mary, an imaginative take on the popular Korean side dish made with sake, tomato juice and rice wine vinegar muddled with wasabi and garnished with picked ginger.
From £7.50, the Bloody Mary menu, available at the refinery on Bankside, the parlour in Canary Wharf, The Folly and The Anthologist in the City, and the drift on Bishopsgate, is the perfect remedy to take the edge off a hangover. Enjoy over the papers along with a delicious breakfast or treat yourself to an indulgent Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
