It was very busy (too busy) so we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food to come and when it did it was not pleasant. Sunday lunch seem slopped onto the plate the the meat was from a packet not a joint! Very dissapointed, won't be going back!

A splendid evening, the ribeye steak a real winner. Service was up to the Creg's usual high standard, but that's no surprise. My Brummie friend was very impressed.

A most enjoyable evening. Excellent food (including real hand-cut chips) served with a smile and a few pints of Bombardier.

First visit in a while but the Creg was just as good as last time. I have a friend visiting from Birmingham next month and we'll definitely be dining here. Apart from the food, the view tops the A45.

2nd visit to here both times I found the place was cold and had to keep my coat on till the food arrived ! The food was good the first time we went, thats why we went back, but this time it was more like back street cafe food rather than good pub!!

expensive for food which had a "kept warm" feeling about it. We both had the fish which was ok but spoilt by the chips. Good friendly service and great spot to watch the races.

Don't expect posh restaurant surroundings, but food was ample and hot (a change from many establishments). Price creeping up.

For my son to visit the Island and not dine at the Creg was unthinkable, so we went with friends tonight. Once again it was outstanding in every respect.
