23/01/2013 service left a lot to be desired. wine plonked on table not opened or poured. 4 out of 5 main courses sent back as cold! long wait for food to be returned and only 1 other table in restaurant. 12 chips not a lot with meal!! overall disappointed!

08/09/2012 Back for a quick lunchtime bite and this time the food was much better. Generous portions of tuna and cheese on my JP with a lovely fresh salad on the side.

26/08/2012 The majority of our group enjoyed our meals however the chicken carbobonara was nothing more than pasta with cream, dreadful! One waitress was very rude and uninterested and the food took quite a while to arrive. Please up your game guys!

20/07/2012 Food prices have increased dramatically. 7 pound for a started which was small. Service has decreased took over an hour to get a meal. Not the same staff as last time and no where near as friendly and welcoming sadly might not go back!

19/02/2012 Attractive venue but glad there were no young children as acoustic is quite echoey. Service was efficient and friendly, the food delicious and plentiful. No room for dessert and envious of fancy affairs going to next table. V good value. Will return.

19/07/2011 Bit of a difference to last time! Menu changed and seriously lacking! Queenies starter had about 4 queenies on a giant plate. Manx burger was dry and bun frozen and cheap. What has happened?!

11/04/2011 I had a lovely meal. Staff were unintrusive and the food was cooked to perfection. I recommend the fish cakes. we were not hurried away and enjoyed a few hours of pleasent drinking after our meal.

03/04/2011 Despite not being full (on Mother's Day), the service was amatuerish and amazingly slow. Strange quirks, such as sharing 1 condiment tray amongst the entire establishment did not help. Main course was passable. The rest was poor, yet pricey.

12/03/2011 What a waste of a night out. boring atmosphere as place not busy, food overcooked and heavily salted. Wine warm and prices expensive for poor quality and clearly unpopular.
