07/08/2012 Something wrong here, but I can't quite put my finger on it. The food is fine (if a little overpriced) and the location is fine, but it just feels sterile and plastic. I suspect it's the robo-staff that have difficulty acknowledging that you exist.

01/09/2011 What a lovely, homely atmosphere! The coffee was gorgeous - I had a cappucino, complete with a '3 legs of Man' floating on the top, made with chocolate - nice touch. The cake was divine. The staff were so welcoming - I will definately visit again.

29/07/2011 Sitting in the garden on a sunny day eating good home-cooked food served by friendly staff. What more could you want? Tables inside great too, and there's a Book Exchange.

20/03/2011 1st visit under new ownership. Great improvement to decor, Sunday lunch, good homemade food. Should drop the term "seasonal" veg from menu if using carrots & peas! £60 for 4 with desserts & coffee overall good value & excellent friendly service

17/09/2010 This tearoom has changed hands. Bank Holiday weekend with no cakes, no scones, in fact nothing for tea. They could have knocked up a few scones surely. A tea room with no cake is like a pub with no beer.

04/09/2010 Sat in the lovely sunny garden for lunch - fresh baguettes and sandwiches and good range of wines and beers. Cheery staff and excellent value. And they do a Book Swap which is a great idea.
