PRINCES SERVES UP TROPICAL TASTES WITH NEW RANGE OF JUICE DRINKS

Princes has launched a new range of exotic flavour juice drinks that are guaranteed to bring a bit of sunshine to your day. This sounded good, so I tested them.

The drinks come in a range of exotic flavours - pomegranate, passionfruit, mango, pineapple & coconut, cherry and blueberry – and the ones I tested were the pomegranate and the passionfruit.

Passionfruit – this one really was liquid sunshine! A lovely sunny colour in the glass and a delicious summery taste – a rich passionfruit flavour but not at all too sweet or sickly.

Pomegranate – a very refreshing drink with that subtle pomegranate bite. A very good red wine substitute for those who don’t wish to drink.

So, these two I can certainly recommend, and assume that the rest of the fruits in the range are equally delicious. They would be perfect for serving up at your summer barbeque, on a family picnic, but even if the real sun does not appear they would be equally enjoyable simply as a refreshing drink every day. I liked them a lot.

My only slight complaint is the pouring system on the cartons – the plastic arrangements pulled right off, so I was left with no way to seal them. OK if they’re in the fridge, but not OK if you need to transport half full cartons home after a picnic.

The new range of Princes 1ltr juice drinks are available now in Tesco (RSP £1.35). The Pomegranate and Mango flavours will also be coming soon to Asda.
