Rachel’s has introduced a new low fat sunshine yogurt for the summer season – a zesty orange and bitter lemon flavoured Limited Edition low fat St Clements yogurt. This quintessentially British yogurt takes its name from the traditional rhyme “Oranges and lemons say the bells of St Clements” that refers to the famous church bells near the City of London. The bells rang when the ships carrying citrus fruits from the Mediterranean arrived at the docks opposite the church.
This was the first of the range that I taste tested, and it surprised me. For low-fat it was rich and smooth, and although there was a real citrus tang, it blended very well with the creamy taste. Rachel’s have combined their signature thick and creamy low fat yogurt with the taste of freshly squeezed juices of oranges and lemons - resulting in a classic citrus creation that perfectly embodies the fresh, fruity taste of British summer. What’s more, the refreshing, mouthwatering combination of tangy orange and sweet and sour lemon is ideal for waking up your early morning tastebuds. I tested it for breakfast with fruit and also with my porridge – and I can recommend it, particularly as it also contains health-giving probiotic cultures Lactobacillus acidophilus & Bifidobacterium to help improve and maintain a healthy digestive system. A great way to start the day!
This zesty yogurt is priced at £1.59 for a 450g pot.

But this is just one from a huge range of healthy yogurts and desserts – all looking and sounding very tempting, and all those I tried living up to the promise. I tried a range of fabulously fruity flavours, all brought out in time for summer, including a tropical multipack, apple & elderflower yogurt and wholemilk blueberry yogurt.
Rachel’s Low Fat Tropical Multi Pack
The new tropical multi pack leaves you spoilt for choice with four tempting flavours to choose from:
• Sweet juicy orange blended with luscious mango
• Ripe pineapple and sweet papaya
• Peach and mouth watering passion fruit
• Refreshing mango with rich vanilla
With less that 2% fat, these exotically extravagant flavours are ideal for those looking for an energising treat, but who are not willing to compromise on taste.
Rachel’s Low Fat Apple and Elderflower Yogurt
With a fresh, floral taste of summer, the new low fat apple and elderflower yogurt combines their signature creamy low fat yogurt with subtle notes of fragrant sweet Belvoir elderflower cordial and juicy green apples. Good spooned over summer fruits or as a healthy dessert option on its own - an ideal way to finish off a lovely summer lunch in the garden.
Rachel’s Wholemilk Blueberry Yogurt
Back due to popular demand, this former limited edition combines juicy organic blueberries with smooth, creamy bio-live yogurt, resulting in a delicious creation guaranteed to keep you feeling healthy and invigorated all through the year. As well as tasting great, the blueberry’s super fruit status means this pot is packed full of healing health benefits including rich antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to give you a boost.

As with all Rachel’s yogurts, each and every spoonful of these luscious new pots contain plenty of health-giving probiotic cultures Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium, helping to maintain a healthy digestive system. Packaged in striking pots, these creamy creations are available in all good supermarkets nationwide priced at £1.59 for a 450g big pot, and £1.69 for a multi pack.
