The 2008 Annual Top Twenty

It’s been a busy first year at Where’s Good to Eat, thanks to the tremendous efforts of our many contributors, and we think it is important to do our "bit" by providing good, objective analysis from the vast amount of information on the site. One of the most popular areas is the monthly Top Ten rankings for recommendations and so we have produced a Top Twenty for the whole of 2008 using the same approach.

Note: table is based on the average number of positive recommendations (i.e. the total of recommended and OK grades, less any not recommended ones), calculated on a monthly basis.

Not everyone who visits Where's Good to Eat leaves a recommendation, many simply want to see what is being written about an establishment, which we define as "Visits". In many cases the establishments with the most visits are also those with the most (favourable) recommendations but not always.
